Who We Are

Calligraphy by Thich Nhat Hanh

Willow Branch Sangha (WBS) is a group of friends who comes from diverse spiritual backgrounds with the common interest in the practice of mindfulness in daily living. Our practice is inspired by the teachings on engaged Buddhism by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and other teachers.

sangha is a community of practitioners. Mindfulness is the capacity of being deeply aware of what is going on at the present moment.

We are a non-denominational group and all visitors are welcome to attend our Sunday sittings.  We meet from 6 to 8 PM at the Church of the loving Shepherd, 1066 South New Street West Chester, PA.
